SCIENCE NEWS This Fall, our first Science unit is Weather. We will learn about how clouds produce water, how clouds are formed and things of that nature. Currently, we are studying how temperature happens, and how we measure it. |

MATH NEWS
In Math, we are currently doing some quick review for this week. Starting next week, we are going into long addition and subtraction. This will include 3-4 numbers that will have to be added and/or subtracted. We will have a test on Thursday September 22nd, for the basics of long addition and subtraction. Math workbooks are in the classroom, and homework will be torn out of the workbook! |

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS NEWS
In ELA we are currently working on sentence formation/structure. We are now writing in complete sentences containing 7-10 words. We have also looked at how writing and reading go hand-in-hand. Every Friday, we have Writer’s Workshop, where students write/correct, and meet with me for 2 hours. We are trying to improve are writing skills!
